Call for Postdocs

The CRG is looking to fill two postdoctoral positions, of duration two years each. Eligible candidates should have (or expect to have by the start date of their position) a PhD in one or more of the main areas of the CRG. Candidates working at intersections of the main areas are also very welcome to apply.

Formally, each of the successful candidates will have to select and be formally based in exactly one of the Canadian sites of the CRG (University of Alberta, University of Calgary and University of Manitoba), but at the same time all the principal investigators of the CRG will interact with the candidates, who will also be encouraged and financially supported to visit the other sites too.

The successful candidates are expected to start in July 2027 (slight deviations from this start date, either earlier or later, may also be considered and negotiated given compelling reasons).

The selection process will be conducted in coordination with PIMS (the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences), and in accordance with all requirements for their regular PIMS PDFs.

We intend to begin review of applications after December 20, but we will also continue accepting applications until both positions have been filled.
Very important: only candidates who have submitted their applications by December 20 will be guaranteed full consideration.

More practical details regarding the application submission process will follow soon.
